We received the single: Shining Star. You probably already know it. With a Wu Tang beat and a Wyclef sound. According to Prodigal Sun you must not compare Wyclef with Puffy. "Puffy pays people, so he can put his name on it. Wyclef makes his own hits", says Prodigal. Well they both make 'take-a-way-pop-HipHop' out of hits from back in the days, or am I wrong? And now we have the album: The Last Shall Be First (...to show that Wu Tang is slippin?).Well according to the bio and the band they weren't lookin' to jump a ride on some already existing sound wave. "Creating a brand new sound".
You have to admit that 'Shinning Star' stands out and got a lot deeper lyrics then all that other stuff in the charts. So we went out to check them. Headz were not impressed by the performance of Killa Priest and crew in Paradiso, Amsterdam.

At the end of the day the question that I should have asked pops up. Sunz Of Man: Prodigal Sunn, Killah Priest, 60 Seconds Assasin and Hell Razah. They say that they are rightous. Telling the truth and teaching. They want to destroy negative with the positive. Why the hell are they giving ther interviews drinking Cognac, smoking weed in Coffeeshop Grasshopper that's located in the Red-Light district in Amsterdam while it's just 15 minutes past noon? And also gambling! Yo, maybe kiddies from The States go for that but anybody with a little bit of common sense sees it's a big joke. From what kind of environment did Killah Priest wanted to save that kiddie from in his video?

That they joined Earth Wind And Fire for the song Shining Star was a moment in time, says the bio. What does Prodigal Sunn says:
"No doubt! Everything was cool. They treated us as artists, we treated them as artists. Wyclef is cool cause he's from the hood. Basicly we connected like that. All our minds came together and were made one. We made the song ourself first. It was RZA and Killah Priest. We had our own hook. But the president of our label (Mr. Jones) wanted us to work with Earth Wind and Fire."

It was a suprising sound.

Prodigal Sunn: "Thats good. That's the element of suprise. Now you never forget it. We're universal. We are musicians we do what we want to do. We're also the first act on this label. We've putted all our energy in it. Thats the whole sience, baby. You must have financials behind you so you can make your thoughts vivid, visualize and physical. The number Cold is totally different from Shining Star.
Prodigal Sunn: "You got people that do an whole album about drugs. We came from diffrent aspects. We tell you about the Israeli News, about the world and tell you about the plan. The plan is to hold us down. They try to stop us, they try to hold back the truth. Then told you about Flaming Swords, if you destroy positive you will be destroyed with the Flaming Swords, wich is the tongue."

What is the truth?

Prodigal Sunn: "There's always one truth! The truth is perfection with no error."

How can you recognize it?:

Prodigal Sunn "Because I am the truth. I don't have to recognize something that I already am. I am who I am. The truth is the truth! We deal with biblical facts. These are facts, we deal with mathematics which is order. We deal with law and order. Thats what we now. A lot of people deal with religion. We don't deal with religion. Religion is division. You got Muslims, Cristians and Jews. That is division right there. That's a line but there is only one god. We study religion so we wont get caught up in it. If I tell you Islam is my definition then I'm not saying I'm a muslim. I'm saying Islam is my definition cause I'm dealing with law and order. That's rightousnes. Thats what I mean with that.
Prodigal means extravagant. Sun stands for light it's the truth. Extravagant light. Basicly when I'm coming to your path, the sun is extravagant."
