Freestyle Frabrik comes with their debut album ‘De Konsensus van De Klein Dinges.’ Maybe seen FF on one of The Postmen or Arsonists shows in Belgium. Yeah, another Belgian crew, this time from the docks city Antwerp. In their native
tongue, Flemish, they spit their views about different subjects on an every day
life level.
I heard many Flemish albums but this is one of the best one to understand the words.
Important to know is that the production is complete under responsibility
by DJ 4T4 of 'T Hof Van Commerce', so that’s why they sound like each other… They also maybe known
for their single ‘Boodschap Van Algemeen Nut’. The single is been Pulshit (not pul-shit) at Studio Brussel a renowned radio station.

The debut album contains 12 tracks including an in and outro.
The first nice one is the album title name, with a swinging relaxing
beat with a piano loop. Lyrics like this by Johnny Rizzla:

The intro of Emceekwadraat (ed. mc2) starts with a nice piece of scratch work by Rablaz and flows over to a head banging beat. Listened to the lyrics,
which are very good to understand, I heard Meta say like: ’plastic men present themselves like watchmen / and sell there
shit talking too often / yo, stop or I spew / cause ya bought
karma ni the Sarma / and equal a heated up pita, shoarma / bad
for your health!’
Searching for a beef, or what? I can’t imagine.
‘Aanval van de naamval’ (ed. Attack of the Name case) represents the Double F- crew. Containing a heavy bass beat with reggae influence. A Beastie Boys sounds like track is ‘Vrijdagavond’. With a stay in your head chorus and elektric guitars is this
more a pop track, bit of adolescence.

'Het Land Van Ikea' is a nice production of DJ 4T4 and beats with a piano sound by Rabaz. More being drunk party song with brain spinning lyrics. The
outro contains a distort voice that says that you just listened
to the last track and you must rewind the album…, kinda intelligent
outro, huh?!
Yes, the end of the album, and will rewind it more then once.
Freestyle Fabrik delivers here a good debut album, more will follow.
