DJ Loes and Meneater.

DJAX Break-Beats editions are collector items. Great artwork by 'Zender Excellent Artwork'. It surprised us when we noticed the Parental Advisory: Explicit lyrics. Sticker. Because the sticker just said what it said: Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics. Normally if you see a sticker like that on a Dutch release it's made to fool around with the childish American censorship. You will read something like Volume Advisory: Play As Loud As Possible (Family Jewels) or Paranoid Rapanoid Remedy Consult (Northside Stylaz). Thinking to deep it came clear to us that it's a Break-Beat Record, only instrumental tracks.

Volume V includes 19 tracks done by DJ Loes Lee & Meneater a.k.a. Bitchville. Their beats and breaks include various influences ranging from Ska, club and HipHop to sixties Flower Power as stated in the bio. Well, you need to be a freaky beat freak to dig this record. Almost everything is up-tempo. Number 9 is the only slow track on it. And that is almost the only thing we can say about it. Maybe a sticker: Advisory: It's something. Would be nice. Maybe it's a wack record because we don't digg it or maybe it's great because we can't digg it. Check it out for your self at www.djax.com.
