"We mark the start of an area"

To unpack this record took me longer then getting my opinion together about another 12" of E-Life. Cursing all the way from the p.o.box to the office, the record packing systems getting more tough each release. Once played there where only two words: another masterpiece! Every 12" of the man from The Docks is like a small EP. More then just the title track. Including an instrumental and an acapella track. Although it's yet another master piece it's getting a little bit boring. You know what to expect from E-Life. Going higher each time in the mainstream charts. Having a radio friendly and an underground version of the title track. The debut release was 'Stacked With Honors' including a powerful remix. And on the second 12" 'More Days To Come' for the charts and 'More Days Ahead' for the heads.

"The rhyme and the beat will never clash/music was my first love and it will be my last"

From E-Life's forthcoming album Eleven comes his third 12" release. 'I Wonder Why' with another beauty of a video and 'Out stand Through Time' to keep on nodding. Smart move to market your plan like this, but keeping on wonder why? Because those tracks that are doing well in the mainstream, are dope as hell. The three singers are not just typical RnB girlies. Every layer in the tracks and vocals is perfect. Letting you hear the true soul and meaning of the song. Proving no girlies and boys involved. Only queens and kings in these grooves. For the title track 'I Wonder Why', E-Life is backed up by Manushka doing the main vocals. Desirée Manders and Marlène Simons responsible for the backing. Andreas Lagaris and Holger Schwedt did a damn good job in the vocal coaching. 'I Wonder Why' is produced by E-Lifes mainman Anonymous Mis from the Postmen.

'But Rap took me outta there/I look around and see non of my peers/there outta here/I wonder why'

E-Life tells about the struggles in his life. And keeps on wondering why others didn't make it. Kept on believing in his self and kept on working. Back in the days he already could drop some dope shit. He had the mad connections like you can hear Rhyme Syndicates Donald D shout: 'Dope Syndicate's Elvis' in 'Fly By' on the Original Gangster album. Dope Syndicate was the old posse from the Docks. Keeping on wondering why? Maybe next time he drops some conclusions or answers.

'Why life is never the story you wish/why life don't give you more then you get/You can't deny/you have to carry on/feel so strong/I keep holding on', as sung by Manuska, Andreas Lagaris and Holger Schwedt

As extra track E-Life treats you with 'Gunz and Ammo' by the Gunmen: Uniq, The Anonymous, Sonny D and RollaRocka. But damn, skip all the extra and even the main track. The acapella is the most beautiful track on this vinyl piece.
