The persons selected for this lyrical unity are LaQuatal, Rescue, Skate The Great, Cee Major, Brainpower and your Couzin Steve. The second release of DJ Mass own Mass Appeal Records. Of course the 12" is HipHop proof:
acapella and instrumentals are included.

Dutch Superstars
Features some underground stars on a low tempo beat by DJ Mass. Skate The Great drops the fat line : "This rap shit is much more then just profession/it's my hobby, religion and passion/that's why I'm still smashing." The song contains underground stars smashing lyrics and skills, the record is not super. Just nice.

Versatility Rules The beat drops in with Skate The Great being host and taking care of the chorus line. Surprisingly the beat sounds wack. The bass line and rhythm tracks are dope but you want to nod your head faster then the beat goes. Trying to dig the feeling, but can't. The beat just goes to slow. Lucky there is the pitch control, pitch the speed up with 2 steps and the track sounds like a track of DJ Mass should sound: dope. Steady low tempo beat. Using the human beat box DMX on the background. Sampled from Latoya from Just Ice debut record 'Back To The Old School'.

A versatility of styles is represented. First up is Couzin Steve. Second Brainpower as the only MC on this track who still didn't drop anything on vinyl or CD jet. At least we have a guest appearance of this master freestyler. But 'MC's coming out of the closet like George Michael', hopefully he will release something of his own soon.
