ART.12 - Creativity with a copy machine (Dutch)
The pirate radio station Artikel 12, in Deventer, needed to be promoted. How? You can't put up posters, that is a straight invitation for the ME to drop in for a visit. The idea was to promote the station with a magazine which contained the broadcast time codes.

ART.12 - The first national ART.12 (Dutch)
If you say A, you have to say B. Interviewing Seda from the Osdorp
Posse, his brother (King) came up with the idea to make a national
Dutch HipHop Magazine. "Why not?". So an idea getting out of hand.

ART.12 - 2 (Dutch)
How the hell do you make a magazine or publish it? You can wait till somebody else does it. Or study it before doing it. But with the attitude: just jump in the water and then you will know if it's too cold. We started to roll. learning the hard way, the most fun way. "Do we have a cover photo?"asked the Art Director. "Ooh euhm."

ART.12 - 4 (Dutch + English)
Getting busy and started to make a rep for being an independent magazine that broadcasted all opinions in the scene and does not suck any dicks. The magazine includes a poster of Rowdy with the lyrics of Ghetto Child. Prophets Of Thruth, Guru and Deams (in English) and West Clan. Etc.

ART.12 - 6 (Dutch)
A new printer company, getting to know better technics, but still learning. The issue is known for having the most beautiful black and white cover. Portraiting Uptown public face with a T-shirt that states: "Don't front." on the front.

ART.12 - 6 (Dutch)
The thickest and the fattest issues ever. With a very long interview with the Grand E before he would release his shit. Before he would slam in the doors of the mainstream. Being at his best. Hitting the nail on the head with what he said. Spookrijders promising they will blow up before they blew up.Uptown and Two Outta. Etc.

ART.12 - 7 (Dutch)
With a very interesting interviews with legendary Phat Pockets and the Tripple X soldier Cane. Checking out ArnhemsGewijs who where one of the few that were able to make really good Hipoh/RnB in the Dutch language. And a very radical piece on politician Mrs. Tara Varma, who was attacked by Neo Nazi's. We stated and promised we would take a stand and bring words and any means necessary to protect her. If she would call us for help. It also was time to move to a new printer. Who fucked up the issue with doing a bad job.

ART.12 - 8 (Dutch)
DTF succeed to work with the restrictions we had, financial and techical wise. Resulted in the most white Black Music magazine issue ever.

ART.12 - 9 (Dutch)
Once more forgot to make a cover photo. With Couzin Steve into the mind of a restless MC on the run for for what? Jungle Brothers back in the bizz. And a check with politician Mrs. Tara Varma, who was attacked by Neo Nazi's. We stated and promised we would take a stand and bring words and any means necessary to protect her. If she would call us for help, in issue #7. We hoped that there would be more responses from the scene to do the same. But it proved: that the most are talking loud but ain't saying nothing.

ART.12 -10 (Dutch)
Our good relation CMC/Sou Relation who mostly advertised on the back of ART.12 wanted to have a full-color ad and took the means necessary to pay the bill of a full-color cover too. They planned to do it for five times a year. But, "sadly" DTF and AQ decided that internet made a lot more sense then to continuing on paper. So it was decided to move the dot between ART and 12 to the end to make it an ART12.com
